Yoga Reaches Out - A benefit for Oakland Children's Hospital

Your participation will help sustain many of the programs at Children's Hospital Oakland, including "Healthy Hearts" which is designed to prevent and treat childhood obesity and related illnesses, such as diabetes, heart disease, and high blood pressure. A portion of proceeds will also help Africa Yoga Project (AYP) an organization that creates transformation, empowerment and change through the practice of yoga, delivering innovative programs that foster peace, improve physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing, facilitate self-sufficiency and create opportunities to learn and contribute across the communities of East Africa.

This event is meant to support children locally and globally and we will offer something for everyone including yoga asana, yoga slackers, stand up paddle yoga, lots of great music, an eclectic bazaar, raffles, participant gift bags,and more! Bay Area Favorites Janet Stone, Buddy Macuha, Pete Guinosso, Kevin Collins, and Debbie Steingesser will be leading us through a moving practice. Cost: $25.00 regular registration fee or $47.00 premier registration fee that includes a lunch buffet from the Boiler House Restaurant. Every participant must raise a minimum of $250.00
