Tad Worku Love is All Concert

February 28, 2015
7:30 PM -

Doors 7.30pm, concert 8pm, no intermission

Tad Worku and The Oakland East Bay Symphony are partnering for a unique collaboration. Tad gained a name for himself in the bay area after performing multiple sold out shows at Yoshis San Francisco and also was named the Yoshis Spotlight Artist of the month. Symphony Music Director and Conductor Michael Morgan worked closely with Tad to adapt his unique brand of music for performance by the full string section of the Oakland East Bay Symphony. Tad will also be accompanied on stage by his incredibly talented band led by Dave Jackson, current music director and keyboardist for Grammy and Golden Globe Award winner, Jennifer Hudson.

Tad’s original compositions defy genre categorization, incorporating elements of many different musical styles. His songs incorporate strong Christian themes, exploring Tad’s personal journey to find meaning and purpose both in his musical career and his service to the community.

Proceeds from the concert will be used to fund a free medical and dental clinic for the clients of multiple local homeless shelters.

The Love is All concert and free clinic on February 28th will be the beginning of an exciting journey that Tad hopes will help answer a question that’s deeply important to him – What would it look like if we could truly live out the Gospel?
